Raven ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal information.

Information we collect

We collect the following information when you use Raven:

Email address and name — provided when you sign in with Google or Apple
Username — chosen by you during onboarding
Learning progress — lessons completed, XP earned, scores
Audio recordings — captured temporarily during shadowing exercises for scoring only; not stored on our servers
Device information — platform (iOS/Android), app version
Push notification token — to send learning reminders

How we use your data

To provide and improve the Raven learning experience
To track your progress and award XP
To display leaderboards and friend challenges
To send optional push notifications (you can disable these at any time)
To manage your subscription status via RevenueCat
To respond to support requests

Third-party services

Raven uses the following third-party services:

Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management
Google AdMob — advertising (shown to free users only)
Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In — authentication
Expo — push notification delivery

Each provider has their own privacy policy governing their data practices.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties except as required to operate the services listed above, or as required by law.

Leaderboard data (username and weekly XP) is visible to other users only if you enable this in Settings.

Data retention & deletion

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your personal data, progress, and associated records are permanently removed.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at maiphamtn@hotmail.com.

Children's privacy

Raven is intended for users aged 15 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
